Kedar Sathe

Kedar Sathe serves as Chief Information Officer for Newrez and the Rithm Capital Group of Companies.

With 24 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Sathe has extensive experience and has held various leadership positions in mortgage banking, consumer, andcommercial Banking.

Most recently, Mr. Sathe joined Genesis Capital in 2020 to mature the platform, which led to its acquisition by Rithm Capital. Prior to Genesis Capital, Mr. Sathe was Chief Technology Officer at Axos Invest. After joining Rithm in 2021, Mr. Sathe, in his role as CIO, has been focused on evolving the platform into a machine-first and data-driven organization that balances product offerings, efficiency, reliability, and risk. Mr. Sathe leads talented teams that are focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Intelligent Automation (IA), Data and Software Engineering and Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, and Capacity Management. Prior experiences include various leadership positions at Axos Bank, Pennymac, CIT Bank, OneWest Bank and Indymac Bank.

Mr. Sathe holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
